Funding Fossil Fuel Projects
Get Your Oil or Gas Project Funded!
What Are the Uses of Fossil Fuels?
Coal, petroleum, and natural gas are in high demand these days. Non-renewable resources, they take millions of years to form, and reserves are being depleted much faster than new ones are being made. They are of great importance because they can be burned, producing significant amounts of energy per unit weight.
The use of coal as a fuel predates recorded history. Heavy crude oil and tar sands are becoming more important as sources of fossil fuel. Oil, shale, and similar materials yield synthetic crude oil when heated (pyrolyzed).
Natural gas is a naturally occurring gas mixture and is an important fuel source and a major feedstock for fertilizers. It is a major source of electricity generation through the use of gas turbines and steam turbines. It also burns more cleanly than other hydrocarbon fuels and produces less carbon dioxide per unit of energy released.

OUR CONTACTS™
A great feature in funding fossil fuel projects is the fact that:
1) traditional funding instruments can be used, and
2) no special accommodations or arrangements need to be added on to a funding arrangement involving biomass.
The best case scenario is if you (as project promoter/owner) have an off-take agreement (agreement in which a third party that has signed a contract guaranteeing that they will be buying the promoter's output for a certain length of time in the future right from the start).
Why? Because for investors it is a guarantee of return on their investment, not to mention that it is also a steady guaranteed payment on the debt of the equipment due to the fact that the energy produced is sold over the long term (thus, there is a guaranteed income).
So what are you waiting for? Fill out our contact form and let's see what we can do together!
On the business end, the Promoter/project owner is required to produce essentially the same basic information and documents as he/she would in any other type of project:
- Feasibility Study (if you have it)
What you will also need is presentation report that details the technology to be used.
What can often be the (only) tricky part of funding a fossil fuel project is assessing the technology that will be used to produce this energy; but solid, time-tested fossil fuel-producing manufacturers do exist and are often favoured in these types of deals.
